Black Starlets head coach Paa Kwesi Fabian is optimistic of getting a positive result away to Ivory Coast but is wary of referee’s influence.
The National Under-17 team will be seeking to build on their 3-1 advantage and qualify for next year’s when they face their Ivorian counterparts.
The Starlets need to avoid defeat to book a slot at next year’s competition.
Fabian expects a fair officiating as his side looks to seal qualification to 2017 Africa U-17 Championship to be staged in Madagascar.
“’In football, anything can happen but I believe that we will qualify. But all I’m saying is that if we get the same officiating we had in the first leg, we will beat these people in Ivory Coast.’’
‘’I’m only praying for fair officiating.’’ He added.
The Starlets were lucky to escape the tie against Burkina Faso 6-5 on aggregate despite heading into the second leg in Burkina with a 5-1 score line. The team suffered from bad officiating with Fabian sent to the stands for challenging a ridiculous call by the referee.
