Black Maidens coach as attributed Ghana’s exit in the FIFA U-17 World Cup down to poor preparations.
The Maidens exited at the same stage just as their previous appearance as they fell to a late winner against Korea DPR.
The Maidens have had their problems documented with a large chunk of it being financial constraints which could have contributed to their early exit.
But head coach Evans Adotey feels their lack of preparation was a major bane.
“Our target was to finish in the last four this year, but we couldn’t achieve our target.
“We have done well in the past so it was our hope that we reach that level this year but due to poor preparations we couldn’t perform to our ultimate level. Our preparation was very poor.”
The Maidens have threatened to demonstrate against the Ministry of Sports in what they perceive as clear neglect.
