Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has dismissed reports linking him with a return to Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold.
Dauda who returned to the Obuasi based side two seasons ago after failed stints abroad decided to leave the club last season.
On his return, he won the league title with the Miners. Their first in 19 years. His last season ended in somewhat of a slide as the Obuasi side struggled on and off the pitch.
The team will begin preparations for the upcoming season and it is speculated Dauda could make a third return to the club but Dauda has categorically denied it.
“It’s not true that I am set to return to AshGold who ever said that I don’t know where he got that from."
“I am here and I am working hard because I know that something good will happen to me very soon.”
Dauda represented Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
