As the 'beef' between Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono rages on, Joshua of hiplife group Keche has waded into the controversy by stating Shatta Wale is bigger than Yaa Pono.
In an interview with Hitz FM’s Dr Pounds on Hitz High Table, the rapper said Shatta Wale was the biggest artiste in Ghana and Yaa Pono was nowhere near him.

“For now, there are no two ways about it, Shatta (Wale) is the biggest artiste. We as a group are behind Shatta and Sarkodie. Yaa Pono hasn’t gotten to the level of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie or Stonebwoy,” he said.
A section of the group’s fans has expressed anger at Keche for recording a song – Flavour - with Shatta Wale.

Reacting to the anger expressed by their fans, the group urged their fans not to get upset explaining that recording with Shatta Wale did not mean they are choosing Shatta over Yaa Pono.

“I want the fans to know, those who support Pono should support him strongly but they should not think because we have a song with Shatta it means we belong to his camp,” Joshua noted.
