A businessman Charles Frimpong accused of shooting a mechanic at Alajo in Accra last week has been charged with murder.
He shot the 33-year old victim, Yaw Boadi last week Tuesday following a misunderstanding over where to park his car.
At the Abeka District court, where the suspect was arraigned, the state prosecutors requested to change the charge from attempted murder to murder after the critically wounded Yaw Boadi passed away a day after the shooting.
The court granted the request and Charles Frimpong has been remanded in prison custody.

Some friends and co-workers of the victim gathered at the court premises to keep up their demand for justice for their slain colleague.
Some of them witnessed the altercation between the mechanic and Charles Frimpong last week Tuesday. The deceased had demanded, the suspect move his red Hyundai car some meters away to enable him to park a 207 Benz bus.
The suspect refused and in the ensuing disagreement, allegedly fired a warning shot and later shot the victim.
He had been hospitalised since Tuesday. He passed Wednesday evening after losing a lot of blood. Medical report indicates his right kidney was so hard hit it had to be removed, his colon was also cut and joined.
Yaw had also lost so much blood requiring more than 12 pints pumped back into him but that was not enough to save his life.
