‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hit maker Kurl Songx says he still sings in church with his earrings on, and see nothing wrong with that.
In an interview with KMJ on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he stated that he maintains that fashion even though some people in his church give him stern looks.
The 2016 MTN Hit maker winner stated that even though some people may have problems with that, he believes the act of serving God is a matter of the heart and not appearance.
The singer who is currently promoting his new song ‘Whistle’ added that he had always put on earrings and does not see why he should stop wearing them now.
“I don't see anything wrong with wearing ear rings to church. I believe that God looks into the heart and not what the eyes see. I am not in to please man. I am used to wearing them so I don't see the reason why I should stop wearing them.”
The artiste, who fellowships with the Grace Aflame Chapel Ghana, claims that he sings in church because he owes his life to God and that is the reason he gives his all to Him when he is in the church.
He noted that despite the genre of music he does, which is Afrobeat, he still sings gospel songs at his church.
“I sing in church. I don’t do gospel. I owe God my life and I am grateful for how far He has brought me that is why I give my all to God when I am in church,” he said.
