Reverend Prosper Samuel Dzomeku, National Youth Director of the Global Evangelical Church, has said without Christianity, Islam and other religions that believe in God, the world would be worse off.
Rev Dzomeku said without Christianity, Islam and other Eastern religions the world would have been a disorganized and a highly reckless entity.
He said this at a five-day annual Youth Camp programme of the Church attended by over 4,000 youths from Ghana, Togo and Cote d'Ivoire at Jasikan on Thursday.
Rev Dzomeku said Churches and other religions continued to turn out high calibre people and wondered how the world would have been without the influence of faith-based institutions.
He said there seemed to be a decline in Godly standards and appealed to the Church to revert to the teaching of Biblical principles and tenets and inculcate these values in the youth.
Rev Dzomeku called for the strengthening of State/Church relations and youth enrichment programmes.
Etornam Addo, Secretary, National Youth Committee, urged the youth to exude Christ in all endeavours and harness their energies towards liberating mankind from the claws of bondage, ignorance and disease.
