Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia joined an interview panel screening more than 130,000 unemployed graduates seeking placement on government's Nation Builders Corp.
The candidates who turned up at the office of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly were suprised to see the government's economic czar sitting with a six-member panel.

The man who had promised them jobs during the 2016 elections was there to supervise the process which could fulfill their dream or shatter it.
"I pray I am able to pass through", a female candidate told Joy News Wednesday.
Another said she had been staying at home helping her mother whilst looking for a job and considers the 700cedis salaried job a good opportunity.

NABCO is the second major job intervention programme introduced by the government to ease the frustrations of teeming unemployed graduates.
The first, National Youth Employment Programme now Youth Employment Agency, was introduced in 2006 by the NPP government after it described the levels of unemployment a national security threat.
Like YEA, the NABCO applicants who are mostly tertiary graduates, have chosen one of several modules they want to be placed. There are the Teach Ghana, Feed Ghana, Heal Ghana, Digital Ghana among several others to be filled by 137,000 applicants.
At the maiden interview session, 1,319 candidates were intervened while 381 applicants failed to show up.
The interviews are expected to end within a week.
