Supporters and sympathizers of the Independent presidential candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah, were on Monday disappointed as his running mate failed to turn up at their campaign launch.
Jacob Osei Yeboah, the only independent candidate running for the 2012 presidential elections was to officially outdoor his running mate.
The programme which was in two parts; book and campaign launch and out-dooring of running mate, saw supporters, religious leaders and the media present thrown into a state of disappointment as it was announced that the running mate could not make it for the programme.
In a bid to find out more, we were told the man was indisposed and therefore could not make it.
In an interview with joy, Jacob Osei Yeboah refused to disclose who his running mate was but confirmed that he was indisposed and won't make it to the campaign launch
Meanwhile the first part of the programme saw the launch of a book by the presidential candidate titled "Next President of Ghana"; a 194 page book which brings out his vision on the proper democratization of Ghana and Africa taking on topics like chieftaincy.
In the book, Jacob Osei Yeboah advocates for a governance structure that harnesses the active role of traditional rulers and independent candidates.
Nana Kwabena Nketiah V paramount chief of Esikado was at the launch and urged all to uphold peace to maintain sustainable development of the country.
