Director of Communications at the Presidency says part of his job at the presidency is to ensure that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo loses the December general elections.
He said he spends sleepless nights strategizing and plotting the defeat of the opposition party and to prevent them from moving Ghana in the wrong direction.
He disclosed this in an exclusive interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.
Mr. Anyidoho was reacting to a Daily Guide publication that the staff of the late President John Evans Atta Mills of which he played a key role have been rendered redundant at the presidency.
He stated unequivocally that he will not be stampeded by the media to put out his job schedule which he said will distract him from his core duties.
The Director of Communication at the presidency said such publications are part of the vile propaganda of the NPP against people who are exposing its lies and deceit to Ghanaians.
Mr. Anyidoho said his basic duty at the presidency is to protect and project the presidency in a positive light to Ghanaians for a renewal of mandate ahead of the December polls.
Commenting on the free Senior High School (SHS) policy, he reiterated that the policy is not feasible as the NPP wants Ghanaians to believe.
“Nana Addo is misleading and misinforming Ghanaians because the free SHS is not possible” he added.
He stressed the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) commitment to improving the educational sector in the country if given another term in office.
Mr. Anyidoho said the NDC has more realistic policies to advance the Better Ghana Agenda than the NPP which is promising heaven on earth out of desperation to win political power.
He contended that the greatest mistake Ghanaians will ever make is to vote the Akufo-Addo led NPP to power.
“My greatest fear is that under an unlikely Akufo-Addo presidency; Ghana will suffer [a deficit] in national cohesion”.
