Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale pulled off one of the biggest surprises of his life when he went down his knees to propose to his longtime girlfriend Shatta Michy.
During the launch of his third album, ‘Reign’ at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre Saturday night, the controversial dancehall act paused during his performance and did the unexpected.
In front of the over 10,000-packed venue and their two kids - including their son, Majesty - Shatta Wale called out the name of the mother of his son and proposed to her.
After performing their joint song, ‘Low Tempo’ together, Shatta Wale paused in the middle of the performance for a few seconds to interact with their fans.
“Shatta Michy,” he called her name, went down on one knee, proposed to her, and stood up to put a ring on his baby mama’s finger.
A visibly surprised Shatta Michy was simply lost for words during the entire process. She just opened her mouth in awe.
After that surprise, the lovebirds shared a long passionate kiss on stage amidst loud cheers and chants from their teeming fans.
After the kiss, they performed ‘BulletProof’ together while intermittently holding hands.
It is however unclear when the two will officially walk down the aisle.

Shatta Wale recently was the subject of ridicule and attacks after some of colleague entertainment personalities got married.
After Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, John Dumelo got married, many questioned when the dancehall act will officially walk his longtime girlfriend down the aisle.
It looks as if the proposal at the Fantasy Dome is a step closer to silencing his critics.
Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy, born Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, have dated for some years now. They welcomed a son, Majesty, on July 11, 2015.
Apart from their son Majesty, Shatta Wale also has two other children with different women.
