‘Odo Filla’ Aberewanana, the pretty soft spoken Ghanaian songstress who is a judge at the ongoing MNET Idols West Africa singing competition, says that she likes handsome guys and will never hesitate to voice it if a man is cute!
The hip-life singer observed in a recent interview that Nigerian guys were more attractive than the girls!
This stand was inspired by her exposure to thousands of Nigerian guys and girls who turned up before her at the recent Lagos and Abuja auditions.
Aberewanana obsreved that it was easier to see more pretty girls than guys in Ghana, saying the reverse was the case in Nigeria. But she believed Nigerian and Ghanaian guys were equally good-looking, feeling that the lads from both West African countries were highly fashion conscious.
She commended the ‘wow’ looks of many of the contestants at the Lagos and Abuja auditions, and did not hesitate to tell them, with a charming smile: “You look good.” Or, “I like your height.”
The charming musician, who has a couple of albums to her credit and a new one in the pipeline, said however that her admiration for these guys’ hotness did not mean her legs wobbled when she saw them.
She said, “I just like telling people when I see that they are good-looking.”
For those eyeing the soft-spoken and finely finicky judge, she yells that she’s in a three-year relationship with a Ghanaian student, who charms her with love, support and kindness. “I don’t like guys that are popular like me,” she said.
