Absa Bank Ghana Limited has been named Bancassurance Leader for 2024 at the 2025 Ghana Insurance Awards, in recognition of the bank’s leadership in delivering integrated financial protection to individuals and businesses across Ghana.
The award acknowledges Absa’s performance in growing access to life and general insurance products through its longstanding partnerships with Enterprise Life and Hollard Insurance.
As of June 2025, more than 157,000 clients have been served under Absa’s Bancassurance offering.
“This award is a significant endorsement of our mission to make insurance accessible, relevant, and embedded in everyday banking experiences,” said Kobla Nyaletey, Executive Director for Retail and Business Banking, Absa Bank Ghana Limited.
“We believe financial protection is not a luxury - it is essential.”
Absa’s Bancassurance model provides access to life, health, education, motor, and home insurance through its branch network and digital platforms.
The bank continues its strategic efforts to expand insurance adoption and financial resilience.
The Ghana Insurance Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the insurance industry.
The Bancassurance Leader award is presented annually to a financial institution that demonstrates leadership in product delivery, customer reach, and industry impact.
