John Boye has been ruled out of Ghana's upcoming 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo on Wednesday.
The Black Stars defender pulled up during Monday's training session at the Accra Stadium and had to be helped off by medics.
GFA Spokesperson, Ibrahim Daara said: “[John] Boye picked up an injury to his ankle in training.
"He was looked at by the medical team and is continuing treatment. He will not travel with the team for the game in Togo.”
Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah will not call up a replacement as the team departs Accra Tuesday morning.
