On November 21, 2015, super spirit-filled international gospel music star and worship leader, Bishop Hezekiah Walker will lead thousands of passionate Christians in praises and worship on Ghana's biggest alter of Praise, Airtel Adom Praiz.
As part of preparations for the much expected spirit-lifting event, Airtel Ghana, the headline sponsor of arguably the biggest gospel event in Ghana is embarking on a pre-event tour dubbed 'Airtel Adom Praiz Train'.
The tour will take the organisers to various communities and neighbourhoods in Accra to give expectant patrons the opportunity to win fantastic prizes including tickets to the concert, British Airways tickets and hundreds of souvenirs from Ghana's fastest growing network - Airtel.
The Train started its journey with pageantry at Abossey Okai on October 21 with lots of giveaways - the most popular being Airtel Adom Praiz 2015 tickets.
It moved to Tema Community 21 on October 24 and then to Spintex Road on October 28. It also made a stop at Dansoman Roundabout on October 31 - all attracting hundreds of patrons.
On Wednesday November 4, the Train stationed at the Tema Community Center to spread the euphoria, engage with prospective patrons as well as make tickets available for purchase via Airtel Money at a 10% discount.
The train is expected to reach Perez Dome, the event venue on November 21 stopping over on November 7 and November 18 at Lakeside Estate and Kasoa/ Weija, respectively.
Head of Brands and Marketing Communications at Airtel Ghana, Cornelius Kakrabah, emphasized, "Those who bought Airtel Adom Praiz tickets using Airtel Money before the postponement of the event to 21st November have their tickets intact. They have nothing to worry about."
According to Mr. Kakrabah, this promotional tour is to engage and give back to patrons of the gospel event. In addition, he mentioned that the Train aimed at making tickets available (via Airtel Money) conveniently to patrons.
He assured Ghanaians that Airtel Adom Praiz 2015 will provide a platform for higher praise and worship while rejoicing in the Lord. This is why the theme for this year's edition is 'Rejoice in the Lord always...' (Philippians 4: 4).
"The lead Worshipper, Bishop Hezekiah Walker will arrive in Ghana on 20th November in preparation for the biggest gospel concert in Ghana this year," he hinted.
Bishop Hezekiah Walker has 16 albums and has churned out soul-moving tracks like "Every praise" and "He favoured me". He would be performing with his award winning choir, Love Fellowship Choir.
Some renowned local Gospel artistes like Joe Mettle, KODA, Celina Boateng and Alabaster Box and Minister Francis Amu will be part of the praise team.
Adom Praiz started in 2009 and has brought Ghanaian worship and praise lovers, renowned and international gospel artistes such as Cece Winans, Ron Kenoly, Kirk Franklin and Israel Houghton.
It has also served as a platform for local Gospel giants such as Cecelia Marfo, Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ohemaa Mercy and many more to connect with Gospel music lovers and Christian worshippers.
The event has over the years maintain some of its unique features such as the venue always being a Church Auditorium which, organizers say provides an ambience for a spirit-filled gospel ministration.
Airtel Ghana, the fastest growing and the most loved telecommunication brand in Ghana has been the main sponsor of the calendar-marked event organized by Adom 106.3 FM for the past six years.
