The Texas Women's Empowerment Foundation, through the State of Texas House of Representatives, has honoured Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the Presiding Archbishop of the Christian Action Faith Ministries worldwide.
He was honoured for mentoring and educating thousands of young men and women, and giving them tools to enable them to focus on total life development; and also as a leader connecting communities and cultures.
The ceremony, which was held in Houston, Texas, on August 27, 2010 during the 2010 International Leadership Empowerment Awards Ceremony at their Financial Leadership Summit, featured Dr Myles Munroe as the principal speaker. The ceremony also honoured other celebrities and entertainment and international leaders for impacting the world.
The Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, known in many parts of the world as the Apostle of Strategic Prayer and father of Charismatic Movement in Ghana and other parts of the world, who is also the Founder rind President of the Global Prayer Summit, was presented with a plaque and Certificate of Achievement to commemorate his accomplishment.
The Archbishop in his acceptance speech dedicated the Award to Ghana and all these who had stood by him and believed in the mantle of God upon his life and ministry.
He said: "This award in addition to other awards will serve as a motivation and inspiration for the younger generation".
