The Ghana Armed Forces say their upcoming route march at all regional capital across the country should be seen as a normal routine exercise. The Armed Forces yesterday announced that it will embark on this exercise together with other security agencies this Thursday across all Garrisons in the country. Some have raised questions about timing of the workout with some arguing that the march is just to caution anybody who is planning to disrupt the current security the nation is enjoying. But Director of Public Affairs of Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Mbawine Atintande told Joy News the march is routine and the timing is not an issue. “Nobody needs to be worried about our actions. We are being made to ensure that the country becomes peaceful. Except that you want to disturb the peace then in that case you will be worried. “We will not allow the peace of the country to be disturbed. We will do all that it takes,” he assured. The march will begin this Thursday morning, from El-Wak, to Akuafo Circle, Accra Girls, Nima Roundabout, then to the Nima Police Station and move towards the Ako Adjei Interchange towards the Flag Staff House and turn right through Christ the King Church and advance to the Cantonments Post Office and back to El-Wak.
