The New Year edition of the Luv FM Family Party in the Park has climaxed in grand style at the Kumasi Rattray Park, with patrons soaking in live band music as the curtains draw on the day-long celebration.
From energetic dance moves to sing-alongs, the atmosphere remained electric as families refused to leave the park.
The phenomenal increase in attendance compared to last year signalled the growing acceptance of the Luv FM Family Party in the Park as Kumasi’s biggest outdoor family event to usher in the New Year.
The Rattray Park, filled with laughter, music and colour, became the centre of excitement as thousands of people, mostly family units, from across Kumasi and the wider Ashanti Region thronged in for the Luv Fm Family Party in the Park.

Adult patrons were treated to live band performances, with musicians playing popular tunes that kept the dance floor packed.
The children will not get tired of the moments at the playground.
Many partygoers described the experience as irresistible, insisting they would dance until they were completely worn out.
“I am not leaving here until I am tired and I cannot dance again,” one excited patron said. “This is where all the energy and the fun are.”
“The Luv FM Family Party in the Park is the best party for the New Year. This is not my first time, and I keep coming because I get value for my time,” another patron said.

Sponsors of the event also expressed satisfaction, citing strong customer engagement and exceeding targets.
Product Manager at GB Foods, Eunice Agyemang, said the brand’s participation aligned perfectly with its family-focused values.
“Gino is all about family and creating a happy home, so this platform was perfect for us,” she explained. “We achieved our target through massive customer engagement and activities like the cooking competition, where customers showcased their skills using our products.
Door Masters, another sponsor, also reported positive outcomes.
According to the salesperson, Abena AA, the high number of children at the event was notable.

“We saw a large number of kids compared to adults. Even though we expected more parents, the engagement we had helped us achieve a commendable target,” she said.
Speaking on the success of the event, Eric Nkoom of Luv FM Events said careful planning and specialised measures ensured patron satisfaction.
“The numbers have been great, and our specialised measures ensured a successful Family Party in the Park. And this has set the tone for an even bigger event next year,” he said.
Luv Fm is promising more excitement in the Easter edition of the Family Party in the Park.
