Ashanti Gold CEO Kojo Fianoo has unreluctantly given out a stern waring that his side will boycott the Top 4 final game if the venue is shifted from Baba Yara sports stadium(kumasi).
The final was initially scheduled to be a one off game but a last minute dialogue between the two clubs and the organisers(GHALCA) came to an agreement to rescheduled the final game after a pulsating 1-1 drawn game between Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold played at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday.
A warning issued by the CEO of the Miners has it that his side will boycott the final match if the venue is shifted from Kumasi Baba Yara sports stadium.
" We came into an agreement to rescheduled the match after the game ended in a draw, but we will not hesitate to boycott the final game if the initial venue is changed from Kumasi even if the venue is shifted to Ejisu we will boycott the game", Kojo Fianoo told Hot fm.
The rescheduled final game of the Top 4 tourney between Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold will be staged at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday, 21 September, 2014.
