Avram Grant has left Partizan Belgrade after less than five months in charge of the Serbian club.
The former Chelsea and West Ham manager led Partizan to their fifth consecutive league title but lost three times against fierce rivals Red Star Belgrade.
Grant, 57, informed the club on Monday he wanted to activate the release clause in his 18-month contract.
