Felicia Anthonio is a globally respected digital rights advocate whose work sits at the intersection of technology, human rights, and inclusive policy reform. With more than a decade of experience leading regional and global advocacy campaigns, she has built a career defined by coalition-building, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to social justice, inclusion, and people-centered support.
She currently serves as Global Campaign Manager at Access Now, an international human rights organization, where she leads the #KeepItOn campaign and coalition, one of the world’s most influential and diverse movements working to end internet shutdowns. In this role, Felicia coordinates complex, multi-stakeholder efforts across continents, manages rapid crisis responses, and works closely with civil society groups, governments, international institutions, and private-sector actors to counter digital repression and protect fundamental freedoms online.
Since assuming leadership of #KeepItOn in 2020, Felicia has expanded the coalition’s membership from 200 to over 350 organizations worldwide, while deepening collaboration, trust, and coordination across regions. Her sustained engagement on digital rights has enabled her to build a broad and credible global network that includes journalists and media houses, technical experts, policymakers, civil society leaders, and representatives from institutions such as the United Nations, European Union, African Union, and the Freedom Online Coalition. This network has become a powerful force in amplifying marginalized voices and ensuring that those most affected by digital harms are represented in local, national, and global decision-making spaces.
Beyond campaign leadership, Felicia brings strong expertise in research, public engagement, and strategic media advocacy. Her analysis and advocacy have been featured by leading international outlets including BBC, Al Jazeera, and The Guardian. She is also a sought-after speaker and facilitator, having served as a keynote speaker, panelist, or moderator at major global forums such as RightsCon, the UN Internet Governance Forum, the International Conference on Cyber Conflict, the Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa, and the World Expression Forum. Across these platforms, she is known for her ability to communicate complex and sensitive issues with clarity, empathy, and conviction, whether engaging policymakers, partners, or communities directly impacted by digital rights violations.
Felicia’s professional reach is further strengthened by her fluency in English and French, enabling her to work effectively across Anglophone and Francophone regions and support truly inclusive, cross-regional collaboration. She has extensive experience working with remote and distributed teams across multiple time zones, honing strong skills in self-management, digital collaboration, and clear, intentional communication. Her work routinely involves international travel, and she remains fully mobile and adaptable in representing organizations and implementing projects across diverse contexts.
At the core of Felicia Anthonio’s work is a deep belief in human rights, equity, and dignity for all, online and offline. Her leadership of the #KeepItOn coalition reflects not only strategic excellence, but also a principled commitment to collective action and solidarity. With a strong foundation in strategic planning, coalition dynamics, and cross-cultural engagement, Felicia continues to play a pivotal role in shaping global conversations on digital freedom and empowering civil society to drive meaningful, lasting social change.
