Bank of Africa Ghana has met with a section of its Retail and Corporate Customers at a customer forum held at Labadi Beach Hotel.
Organized under the theme, “Let’s empower the Engine of Growth”, the forum was to afford the Bank’s customers an opportunity to appreciate relevant government policies which affect the business community as well as informing them of some developments within the Bank.
The Forum which was addressed by the Deputy Minister of Trade, Robert Ahomka-Lindsay, attracted over 120 customers, representatives of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and the Media.
The Deputy Minister took time to explain the Stimulus Package announced in the budget earlier this year. He also explained the “One District, One Factory” policy and called on SMEs and Corporate bodies to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.

MD of Bank of Africa Ghana addressing customers of the Bank
In his welcome address to the customers, the Managing Director, Kobby Andah showed great appreciation to the customers for their loyalty and continuous business with the Bank. He assured customers that Bank of Africa Ghana is taking steps to meet the new minimum capital requirement announced by the central bank.
According to the MD, the Bank is paying close attention to the needs of the customers. He adds, “the Bank will be introducing a new digital platform to improve banking services to our customers. This is expected to be rolled out by the first quarter of 2018”.
The deputy Minister engaged both customers and the media in what could be described as a very interactive session to further explain and clarify issues raised during the forum.
The Forum forms part of the Bank’s customer engagement strategy.
