Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, vice-presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party will on Monday 3 September, 2012 begin an 8-day tour of the Brong Ahafo Region.
According to a statement signed by his press aide, Kwabena Boadu, the tour of the Brong Ahafo Region, would see the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice-Presidential candidate visit several communities to interact with inhabitants and various groups on a range of issues.
Some of the issues will include the envisioned transformation of the Ghanaian economy under the next NPP administration, the proposed Free SHS programme, measures to support and boost the agricultural sector under an Akufo–Addo government and the creation of employment for especially the youth across the country.
Dr. Bawumia while in the Region will also tour the following constituencies, Techiman North, Techiman South, Atebubu-Amanting, Sene, Pru, Nkoranza South, Nkoranza North, Kintampo South, Kintampo North, Wenchi, Tain and Asutifi South, the statement added.
