Kwabena Boadu, a Special Aide to New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice-Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has died.
He was found dead Thursday morning in his hotel room in Wa in the Upper West Region where the entire NPP leadership addressed a regional rally Wednesday evening.
A source in the NPP told Joy News the body has been deposited at the Wa regional hospital.

There is growing reaction to the death of the aide who kept an extremely low media profile.
In a tribute on facebook, NPP lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko said;
"KB was not just the Press Secretary to Bawumia. He was, essentially, Bawumia's right hand man. A special aide, a trusted advisor, intelligent, passionate, calm, discreet, loyal, funny, hardworking, committed, loyal to his boss, party and country. You cannot imagine what a huge loss his death is to us all - and I mean party and country"
Founding president of policy think-tank IMANI posted;
"I mean how? You were the one who called me to come meet Dr. Bawumia in his home and I saw how you carried yourself around the man. You were and are a different kind of aide! Please tell me you are just taking a rest. Waiting for your call. Ah!
NPP Deputy Communications Director Maame Afia Akoto; Kwabena and I aren't just friends....He is my Brother. Just at 6.45am we had our last chat. How do I take this .
