Bazooka Football Club made a bright start in the Zone 1 Division One promotional play-offs with a 1-0 win over Guan United on Friday.
The win took them to the top of four team table and need a second on Thursday to all but grab qualification to the top flight.
Also in the Group, Bechem FC and Unity FC played out a 1-1 stalemate at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
Unity took the lead after 24 minutes through William Abotey but Emmanuel Allan equalized three minutes inside the second half.
