Hot girls, take a back seat because Beyoncé has declared it an icy winter. Enter: Icy Park, Beyoncé’s third Adidas x Ivy Park collection. (Yes, we are getting another drop!)
Announced on January 25, the Icy Park collection follows last year’s “Drip 2” #ThisIsMyPark and the Black Pack collection, inspired by Beyoncé’s creativity while being at home during the pandemic. Both featured similar looks to the first collection, released earlier in 2020.
While “Drip 2” pieces featured neon, black, and gold as the main color palette, from the teasers we can already conclude the icy collection seems like it will be a mainly white colorway (and rightfully so!)
From co-ord sets to sports bras to bodysuits and, of course, sneakers, each collection has seen a pattern of comfy athleisure yet stylish pieces that fall in line with Beyonce’s personal style and the classic Adidas silhouettes. We expect this one to be no different.
Based on the sneak peek, Icy Park will boast reflective pieces, lots of winter whites in the form of everything from sneakers to everyone’s favorite curve-hugging jumpsuit. Per the quick video preview, we may be getting some furry or shearling accessories. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
The campaign video is set in a winter wonderland and has celebrity cameos like Hailey Beiber clad in a printed pink ensemble and the icy man himself, Gucci Mane rocking an almost floor-length coat with the Adidas logo emblazoned on the rear. And, we can’t forget the star herself: Beyoncé! She posed in a reflective co-ord set on a custom Ivy Park snowmobile and in a pair of what looks to be a new sneaker line.
We don’t have many details on the release date yet; the release video just says, “Coming Soon.” But, if this drop is anything like the previous ones (which it probably is), the launch date should be pretty soon along. Keep your eyes peeled because if you know anything about an Adidas x Ivy Park release then you know it is guaranteed to sell out within minutes, if not seconds. So grab those coins and prepare for an iced out (and cozy) winter!
