The committee that grilled all seven presidential hopefuls of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will make its report available in 24 hours after the vetting.
A member of the vetting committee, James Klutse Avedzi, has told Joy News the report of Tuesday’s vetting of all the candidates will be presented to the Functional Executives Council (FEC) by close of Wednesday, January 23.
The FEC will then authenticate the report before it will be released to the public, Mr. Avedzi added.
The flagbearer hopefuls include Second deputy Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin; former Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority, Sylvester Mensah, former Trade and Industry Minister, Ekwow Spoi-Gabrah and former President John Dramani Mahama.

John Mahama is highly tipped as the favourite in the contest.
The remaining contenders are former Rector of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Prof. Joshua Alabi, Goosie Tanoh and businessman, Nurudeen Idrissu.
They are hopeful of being cleared to contest in the primaries.
Even though Mr. Avedzi will not speak about the committee’s decision about how the candidates fared at the vetting, he told Kwesi Parker-Wilson that “all of them were inspiring” while the process also went “very smoothly.”
According to him, the qualified persons must be able to attract floating voters as well as meet the requirements set by the party ahead of the February 23 presidential primaries.
