Berekum Chelsea have won this season’s Ghana Premier League title after a late penalty kick sealed a 1-0 win over Real Tamale United on Wednesday afternoon with three matches to spare.
Emmanuel Clottey increased his goal tally for the season with the match winner.
Chelsea now have a 14-point lead but that could be whittled down depending on the outcome of the Kotoko-AshantiGold match in the late kick-off.
Other results;
New Edubiase United 0-2 Hearts of Oak
Liberty 0-1 Mighty Jets
Aduana Stars 1-0 Medeama
Dwarfs 5-0 Arsenals
