Berekum Chelsea captain Abdul Basit is full confidence of winning the CAF Champions league title despite playing former champions TP Mazembe, Al Ahly and Zamalek in the group phase.
Chelsea are less fancied to win a match in the Group but Captain Abdul Basit is remaining positive.
It is not going to be an easy task but this will boost our confidence and prompt us to train hard for the matches.
“Football is not played by names but with your determination and commitment.” He told JOY Sports
“I strongly believe we will surprise the world”.
Chelsea’s first game will be against Zamalek on July 7 at the Golden City Park before matches against TP Mazembe away and a home fixture against six-time champions Al Ahly.
