Runaway Glo premier league leaders Berekum Chelsea were handed a shock 0-1 defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium by relegation threatened King Faisal.
The results come in handy for the Kumasi based club gasping for survival in the premiership, providing them a temporary relegation reprieve.
On the other hand though, it delayed the crowning of Chelsea as the league champions for the 2010-11 season, with four matches to spare.
The Porcupine Warriors who lie on a distant second position on the league log had their match against Kpando Heart of Lions rained off.
The game between defending Champions Aduana FC and New Edubiase was also rained off.
Elsewhere, it rained goals as RTU rattled in four unanswered goals against Abusua Dwarfs at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
A similar tune was sang in Accra as Hearts of Oak picked maximum points against relegation bound BA Stars with an astounding 3-0 victory at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in Accra.
Ashantigold halted the impressive run of Dansoman based Liberty Professionals with a well deserved 2-0 victory at the Len Clay stadium.
Arsenals piped Wa All Stars by a lone goal whilst Medeama FC also beat Mighty Jets 2-1. The jets have their noses deep into relegation and must dig deep to survive.
