Nana Ameyaw Yeboah II, Chief of Sikaa in the Nkoranza District, has called on the people to live in harmony and understanding to enable them to undertake development programmes.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Sikaa, the chief advised the people to guard against partisan politicking as that could divide them and disrupt the area's development.
Nana Ameyaw urged parents to attach great importance to the education of their children and to effectively monitor their movements to prevent them from engaging in social vices.
He reminded the people about the adverse effects of bushfires and asked them to protect the environment against such disasters.
