The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is funding a project, which would establish human rights education clubs in schools in the Jasikan, Kadjebi, Nkwanta-North and Nkwanta-South districts.
The project is meant to get pupils in basic schools interested in their rights and responsibilities.
Mr Daniel Borti, Executive President of Africa Mission Network, a Non Governmental Organisation coordinating the project told a workshop for teachers on Thursday at Jasikan.
The children would be educated on laws on their rights such as the Domestic Violence Act, child abuse, child labour and trafficking.
Mr Bob Charles Agbontor, Jasikan District Chief Executive (DCE) said government will collaborate with the International Labour organisation to increase awareness about child protection laws, especially those on child labour.
