The Convention People’s Party will later Wednesday begin the vetting its Presidential hopefuls.
The vetting will run till Friday.
Four persons will be vetted including former party Chair Samia Yaba Nkrumah.
The rest are Joseph Agyapong, former presidential aspirant Bright Akwetey, and former General Secretary Ivor Greenstreet.
Meanwhile the party has rejected the candidature of Onzy Nkrumah who claims to be one of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s children.
According to Communications Director of the party, Kadri Abdul Rauf Issifu, Onzy Nkrumah's filing was not accepted because he could not comply with set rules.
"The rule that the party set is that for you to file, you must either bring your money in cash or through Banker's Draft. Unfortunately he presented a cheque. The time that he presented the cheque was also close to [end] of nominations", he explained.
