You have never bought a teaspoon of paint to help face-lift the party office, yet you overstretch your importance and desire to be an attention-seeking star-struck wannabe.

You spend money and effort to paint the party office in your opponent's colours (impudence of a ginormous proportion!) This is tantamount to hurting the very soul of the party...

All involved must receive the stiffest of punishment prescribed by the Party's Constitution to serve as a deterrent to the new Johnny-just-come-wannabes who think that without them, the party cannot exist.

What happened to make use of the many available internal mechanisms to address challenges that might ensue in the day-to-day running of the Party?

Wherefrom this principle of the mighty is right? And the sudden application of the principle of the survival of fittest in the operationalization of the Party's timetable to rebuild and strengthen our effort and resolve to annex the 2024 elections?

James Madison once said; "If men were angels, then no government would be required."

However, in the quest for civility in the existence of humanity, led to the institutionalization of rules, procedures, conventions, and laws to govern the affairs of men. For which the Constitution of the New Patriotic Party has guaranteed our conduct as Party members since the inception of the party.

The interest of party members to lead in various capacities such as Polling station executives, Constituency executives, Regional executives, Parliamentary candidates,  National executives, Vice-presidential candidates and Presidential candidates, has led to the emergence of Spin Masters/Doctors and Negative Advert Peddlers who are only interested in bad press (negative news about the Party).

These individuals channel all their energies into criticisizing everything the Party stands for.

Those who are preparing to divide us, those who simply embrace the politics of anything goes should know that the New Patriotic Party is bigger and should be bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions, differences of birth, wealth, religious and tribal affiliations.

I am optimistic that the party would prevail, I am not talking about blind optimism because it is evidently clear that the government under the leadership of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has done enough in education,  health,  road infrastructure,  job creation, agriculture,   industrial growth and even the red sea cheers in Salutation..

While the NDC through their party leadership, surrogates and their  everlasting and perpetual flag bearer are busily fighting to plant the country in the Belly of fear, it is unthinkable to see some Party folk through their actions and inactions disturb the peace of the constituencies all in the name of internal Party elections.

Sometimes, what feels good is actually wrong, let's  check ourselves in our individual desires to get to the top.

We should not send wrong signals to our rank and file that implies we will bend the rules to satisfy their parochial interest. As a political party, we are not here to nurse people's feelings and egos.

Being a father is a job. I refuse to quit and refuse to fail, therefore I humbly employ our fathers, mothers, sons, daughters and beloved party folk to work as fathers and mothers of our Party.

Let us understand that winning the 2024 elections is a national assignment, a religious pilgrimage, a destiny fulfilling a request from our country folk and a fundamental Ghanaian hope and aspiration.
