The Western region branch of the Pharmacy Council has swooped in on drug peddlers in Agona in the Ahanta West district.
According to Radio Maxx’s Nana Adjoa Entsuah, the arrested peddlers sold pain killers, sexual enhancement drugs, malaria drugs, de-wormers, among others.
Nana Adjoa Entsuah added that some of the aphrodisiacs seized included African Viagra, Sexual Fatigue, Black Diamond, Heat Sex and so many others.
The Western regional manager of the Pharmacy Council, Evelyn Oduro said the public must be wary of where they purchase their durgs adding the drugs sold by these peddlers are normally smuggled through unapproved entry points into the country.
She said it is proper for drugs to be bought from approved points of sale, so it can be traced should there be complication.
The arrested peddlers will soon be arraigned before court to face prosecution.
