Dutch-born winger of Ghanaian descent, Ernest Poku, has sealed a move to German top-tier side Bayer Leverkusen.
Poku joins Leverkusen on a long-term contract from Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar, where he came through the youth ranks.
He has signed a deal which will keep him in Germany for the next five years, opting to play under former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Poku went through the AZ Youth Academy from 2019. He was also part of the team that won the UEFA Youth League in 2023.
The trickery forward was involved in 20 goals across all competitions for AZ during his time with the first team, scoring six goals and providing 14 assists, which includes three in European competitions.
Poku featured in his last game for AZ over the weekend in the 4-1 win over Groningen on the opening weekend of the Dutch league.
The winger will look to continue his development at Leverkusen in the coming years.
Despite representing the Netherlands at the youth level, Poku is also eligible to play for Ghana.
