Ex-GHALCA chairman J.Y Appiah has slammed the Ghana club’s governing body for the organization of the Top 8 competition.
The Ghana league Clubs Association has revised their pre-season TOP 4 tournament to accommodate four more clubs for an 8-club tournament scheduled to begin next month.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Sports Morning Show, he stated that, the top 4 tournament always made the league very competitive since clubs were keen on participating in the pre-season tournament but with the 8-club competition, he doubts if clubs will be eager to play very well since any little effort will get you to participate in the competition.
He added that, this will account to less competitiveness in the league.
