Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has retained his place in goal for Ghana’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Kumasi on Tuesday.
Dauda beat off fierce competition from Adam Kwarasey and Richard Kingson to retain his place in Ghana’s starting lineup, according to reports.
AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari will also start in midfield alongside Chelsea enforcer Michael Essien, with Andre Ayew and Kwadwo Asamoah manning the flanks.
Samuel Inkoom is likely to start at right back, with Daniel Opare operating at left back, leaving returnee Jerry Akaminko to partner Rashid Sumaila in the heart of defence.
Team captain Asamoah Gyan will start in the ‘hole’ behind Spartak Moscow striker Abdul Majeed Waris.
