Mario Balotelli's father Thomas Barwuah has accused some unnamed Ghana FA officials of demanding some money to aid in the invitation of his son Enoch Barwuah to the Ghana national team.
Unlike the AC Milan striker who naturalized for the Azzurris of Italy, Enoch - the last brother of Mario, has openly declared his readiness to play for Ghana but the 23-year-old striker is yet to catch the attention.
However, his father has made a on a local radio station in Ghana, claiming some unnamed Ghana FA officials asked him for money and requested to personally manage the player before offering him a place in the Ghana national team.
"They paid us a visit in Italy and I learnt they were ready to invite Enoch to play for Ghana in a tournament in South Africa but he asked us to pay and manage my son in addition and I strongly objected to his proposal, he told Asempa FM.
Enoch, who said in 2014 being a brother to Mario Balotelli "is a disadvantage in the world of football", plays for Italian Serie D side Rapallo Bogliasco.
The father also reveals Mario has turned his attention back to the family after initially abandoning them.
"Mario has reunited with us and he understands his biological grounding very well which makes me happy," he added.
Balotelli was born in Palermo to Ghanaian immigrant parents but the former Inter Milan striker was adopted by an Italian family at a tender age, leading to him commit his international future to Italy.
