An ultra-modern hotel complex in Kumasi has been razed down by fire.
The two-storey City Style Hotel on the Stadium Road had an extensive damage from the roof.
Staff of the hotel attempted to recover few items.
Managers say guests who had checked in at the time of the incident were evacuated before the fire spread to all fourteen rooms of the hotel.
It took the intervention of fire service personnel to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures nearby.
Isaac Nicholas Amissah, who owns the facility, tells Luv Fm’s Kofi Adu Domfeh power fluctuation was the cause of the fire.
