Axed Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers goes down on one knee to propose in Times Square — 68 days after divorcing his wife of 14 years.
Rodgers, 43, beamed as mum-of-one Charlotte Searle, 33, said “Yes!” during a Valentine’s weekend in New York.
Liverpool fan Craig Allen, 27, of Cardiff, was waiting while his girlfriend shopped for make-up.
He said: “I saw this bloke proposing and took snaps to show my girlfriend.
“I was gobsmacked when I saw it was Rodgers. They stopped off in a Mercedes, he popped the question in front of a photographer, put the ring on and away they went.”
Dad-of-two Rodgers divorced Susan on December 7.
