Former parliamentarian for Tano North constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region, Ernest Akobuor Debrah, has passed away Wednesday after a short illness.
The death of the former NPP MP was confirmed to Adom News by his wife on Wednesday.
The former legislator was also a former Minister for Food and Agriculture in the erstwhile John Kufuor administration.
Ernest Akobuor Debrah born on June 3, 1947 was the Minister for Agric from February 2005 to January 2009.
He also served as Brong Ahafo and the Northern Regional Minister from February 2001 to January 2004.
The late MP was Debrah was elected to Parliament as Tano North MP in December 2004.
