Some would-be pilgrims living in Accra have begun packing out of the Hajj village as the deadline for their departure is said to have expired last night. They however hope to return to join their colleagues if officials get an extension and a plane to airlift them to Saudi Arabia. The Head of Security at the Hajj village, Alhaji Kabila told Joy News some of the would-be pilgrims said they were tired of sleeping in the Hajj Village with no end in sight to the predicament. The pilgrims’ disappointment has been mainly due to delays in processing their travel documents. Source: Joy News/Ghana
