Football enthusiasts are expected to throng the Aviation Social Centre in their thousands on Saturday, May 26 for the 8th edition of the fun-packed Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey event.
In their numbers, they will troop to the venue in their favourite team jerseys like Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Manchester United.
Already, fans of Liverpool and Real Madrid are eagerly anticipating a very exciting UEFA Champions League finale that same day.
The Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey event has carved a niche for itself as the major congregation point for soccer fans to network, have fun and watch the finals of the championship.
It will also feature appearances from some of the country’s celebrities from music, radio, sports and television representing their favourite football clubs.
Annually, on-air personalities such as Merqury Quaye, Mic Gizo, KMJ, Andy Dosty and Dr Pounds form their teams to face off in exciting sports competitions.
This year will see a few additions like teams from the Showbiz News Desk, host of Showbiz Fila Prince Tsegah’s team and the Sales team of The Multimedia Group.
The battle lines have been drawn as these teams warm up to take part in the popular five aside football matches at the 8th edition of the Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey.
A draw was held on Daybreak Hitz on Wednesday for the teams that will face off on Saturday.
