GHANAIANS have been asked to learn to forgive one another as that is the tool to total reconciliation so as to heal the wrongs of the past.
Outlining the programme for the Accra Division of the Salvation Army Annual Convention to be held at Tema, Major Seth Appeateng, the Divisional Commander, who was commenting on bitterness, ethnicity and divisive tendencies that is gaining root within the society, emphasised the need to embrace the forth coming Golden Jubilee of the nation as a yardstick for the spiritual and physical liberation of the country.
Major Appeateng made a passionate appeal to ‘radio phone-in contributors to show some sense of decorum whenever they are commenting on national issues and refrain from insults.
Major Appeateng said that since Christians form the majority of the population of the country, the failure of the society would be an indictment to Christian principles and therefore urge Christians to show a greater sense of responsibilities towards the nation.
