Ghana is poised to become the epicentre of the global Pentecostal movement as the Global Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF), Reverend Dominic Yeo, touched down in Accra today.

Rev. Yeo's high-profile visit is specifically to officially launch the 2026 World Congress—a massive international gathering that will see thousands of delegates descend upon the nation.

Rev. Yeo, who also serves as the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Singapore, arrived accompanied by his wife and was received at the airport by the host, Reverend Stephen Wengam, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana.

Before the official launch of the World Congress, the global leadership is immediately engaging with the local church through a specialised, two-day event aimed at bolstering pastoral strength and institutional strategy.

The General Council of Assemblies of God, Ghana, is hosting a Marriage and Leaders Seminar at the prestigious Cedar Mountain Chapel in East Legon, Accra.
