President of Ghana Badminton Association, Evans Yeboah, has been elected treasurer of the Ghana Olympic Committee.
The seasoned sports administrator claimed a narrow win over Ghana Tennis Federation President, Isaac Aboagye Duah, at the Committee’s elections on Saturday.
Aboagye Duah, who was the incumbent Deputy treasurer, lost by just 3 votes, prompting a return to GOC leadership for Yeboah, who served as Vice President from 2017-2021.
Yeboah is also the treasurer for Badminton Africa, the continent’s badminton governing body and the vice president of the National Paralympic Committee.
