Government has rolled out a plan for the execution of the STX-Ghana National Housing Project.
The Tesano Police Training School will be the first beneficiary institution with a total of almost 2 thousand housing units.
According to government, police personnel occupying structures on the proposed site are already being relocated to pave way for the commencement of work.
Works and Housing Minister Alban Bagbin will not say when exactly the project will begin but tells Joy News, the government is making every effort to get it underway.
“We need to relocate them before you start the project. They are occupying the land you need to provide a place for them to move into before you go and commence the construction at the Police Training School at Tesano.
“That is what has been identified by the police themselves as the area for the area of the commencement of the project,” he said.
