Defending champions Asante Kotoko will travel to Cape Coast to play Ebusua Dwarfs with an aim of protecting their six-point cushion atop the league log by the end of the year.
Kotoko have had troubles in their away fixtures this term, losing thrice, winning four times and drawing none, but will seek to exploit Dwarfs’ home frailties.
The Porcupine Warriors will be looking to reciprocate the performance they put up against Medeama SC last week when they whitewashed the Tarkwa based club 4-1 at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Dwarfs are struggling to find the winning formula having already lost seven matches in 14 games (including three out of seven home matches) this season.
Dwarfs have replaced coach Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah with a former player of the club, Rashid Iddi, and will hope to halt their sloppy form.
Dwarfs have failed to win their last three home games (Dwarfs 0-1 Hearts), (Dwarfs 0-1 All Stars), and (Dwarfs 1-1 Medeama SC) but will need a favourable result to restore their confidence and to begin a much-needed revival.
