Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is upbeat about their chances against Guinea in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Ghana, who lie second in the Group E plays Guinea in Casablanca on Saturday, in the first of the double-headers, as the race for qualifying places for next year's finals continues.
After a frustrating opening 1-1 draw with group leaders, Uganda, the Black Stars entered the second match against Togo and managed an important 3-2 win in Lome.
Gyan, who has scored one goal in the last two qualifying games for Ghana is happy with the reaction of the team as stand-in coach Maxwell Konadu prepares the team at the Wydad Athletic Club training centre in Casablanca ahead of the game on Saturday.
"The training was good and all the boys have responded positively to the training since we arrived here," Gyan told the GFA.
"Our key mission here is to win the match against Guinea and from this training session you can see the players are determined to make Ghana proud and qualify for the AFCON."
The optimism around the Black Stars extends to the handful of Ghanaians in Casablanca who were allowed to watch the Black Stars training session on Wednesday night.
A Ghanaian student from Koforidua, Eric Oppong, who is studying Medicine in Casablanca, was also delighted with the session.
"The players worked very hard in training with a lot of them showing that they are ready to beat the Guineans. I am very happy with the determination and commitment of the players and they have to demonstrate this on the match day," Oppong said.
The Black Stars will continue their training at Wydad Athletic Club training centre in Casablanca on Thursday.
They will train at the Stade Mohamed V, the venue of the match, on Friday at 8pm as stipulated in the CAF regulations.
